Arezzo City of Vasari, with its Aqueduct that has quenched the city's thirst for centuries, with its Logge framing Piazza Grande. Signature of an author who survives the centuries, like his historic home, an artist's refuge built in the image and likeness of the Master. An escape from the hustle and bustle of his constant travels between Rome and Florence. Casa Vasari preserves the soul of the illustrious artist from Arezzo, who around 1540 wanted to draw its layout and furnishings step by step.

As it was for the Master himself, this house-museum is the ideal place to take your time and enjoy the excellences of life. Going upstairs we reach the main floor where the frescoed rooms by the Master await us. Our visit with our nose up  starts here in order to capture all the nuances, stories and allegories narrated by Vasari.

The Mannerist-style building is home to the Casa Vasari Museum and to the adjoining archive, where we can appreciate, among other things,  the autograph and private letters written by Michelangelo, Pius V and Cosimo I. An invaluable gift for rereading the sixteenth century and the Renaissance through the voices that have made the history of humanity and rediscovering these great personalities.
